Code License

The code for the Phalanx rules engine, server, and client is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL v3).

The GPL grants you the freedom to:

• Use the software for any purpose.
• Modify the software to suit your needs.
• Share the software with your friends and neighbors.
• Share the changes you make.

Open Implementations

We strongly encourage open implementations and community adaptations of the Phalanx tactical system. Whether you are building a new digital client, a tabletop tool, or a rules expansion, the open nature of the engine ensures you have the freedom to innovate.

Trademarks

Please note that while the code is open under the GPL, the Phalanx trademarks are separate and are not granted under the GPL license.
